Congratulations on your top grades! It is hard to be a good student under the easiest of circumstances, but with the challenges of military rules and codes and capricious commanding officers, it's a real bitch. You absolutely deserve some rewards, and alas, the Navy probably doesn't see it that way. But you should know that a bunch of folks in San Francisco are cheering you on and are immenseley proud of you (and are keeping our fingers crossed!) Hang in there!
