Wow its been awhile since I posted here.  Hmmm... Let's see what's been going on for me.  November was good.  I sent my paperwork off to Immigration Canada.  Didn't make it home for Thanksgiving but thats okay.  Did have turkey and stuffing the weekend before Thanksgiving at my in laws.  The stuffing had chestnuts in it and was delicious.  Didn't ( Read more... )

Nicolas and I got married yesterday!  It was a blast.  We had a garden wedding at his parent's house and a reception at a local restaurant.  My parents came up for the ceremony.  It's funny, my Dad speaks better French than I do.  He took it in highschool and was fluent, but that was over 40 years ago.  I at least was able to get yes I do out in ( Read more... )

It's my birthday.  I'm 28!!!!!!  I thought being 25 was old when I was in highschool.  It's been a long 72 hours, and I'm feeling good.  well mostly.  There was a major thunderstorm last night that kept me up for most of the night.  So I'm a bit tired.  The cats are good.  Poor Mona was so miserable yesterday in all of this heat.  It was 32 degrees ( Read more... )

It's been an interesting weekend.  I've been hanging out with Nic and his friends and family.  Today is a provincial wide holiday celebrating being Quebecoise.  At least that what I understand it to be.  It's pretty cool.
