So today I am having surgery. For those of you who don't know, I have gerd (gastro-esophogeal reflux disease). Basically my esophagus doesn't seal properly where it meets my stomach so acid leaks into my esophagus causing constant heartburn. Also, part of my stomach has herniated up past my diaphragm.
