Put on an additional new drug..
..it messed with my head and made me sleepy at work. The nurse sent me home. So I came home and watched "Inside Deep Throat" through Netflix Watch it Now.
Oh, and I talked with the doc and he said it'd be cool to only take one pill a day rather than two. Hopefully that will keep it from making me feel wonky.

What local economy?
I had to go to Roswell this morning for a doc appointment. I was annoyed that I had to leave town for my neurologist, but kind of excited that I would be in a larger town and have more opportunity to do some shopping that isn't available in Carlsbad, like for decent shoes ( Read more... ) -

About a month ago I pitched $40 into a pot into the Engineering department's "Biggest Loser's" pot. This is based off of some cable tv show on weight loss. Bobda also pitched in. I find it interesting that Bobda got up to go pick up GoW III last night yet we're sitting here together playing through II because I had only watched others play it. -
I liked Avatar and all...
I'm just glad it didn't win an Oscar for best picture of 2009. -

ZOMFG! Functioning Heating!!
So the idea of living in a place with central heating is still somewhat oddball to me. I grew up in a trailer where the oven was set to the lowest temperature and left open to heat the kitchen. I lived for a few years in a nicer trailer with central heating, but didn't consider it "home" by a long shot ( Read more... ) -
