i find my philosophy for all this kind of shit works quite well: simply put, dont take things too seriously. life may be super busy around you, but it's all in your mind. if you just let things flow along by themselves, things usually end up working out =)

a kind of good analogy is from this game, where this guy became like a super martial arts guy, and they illustrated it by saying that when two people fight its like their weaving nets to capture each other, and the more complex the next the harder it is to weave against. but then the guy realized that the whole thing was just overly complicating everything. there was no net, i guess =P.

ps- there are websites that will do your federal tax for you for free, so all you have to do is figure out the state tax =D

actually, there are sites that will do both of them for you. thats what i did last year. so then you could be a little more independent of your parents. just go ahead and do it when you get your w-2 form from the salon. it really isnt that hard. and i could help you out. i really think what would make you feel better is getting out on your own. it's difficult. but not that bad. ive been doing it for over 7 months now. its not that bad,really. especially not if you get a room mate. (a normal one. reliable is nice too.)
