Yowch! I'm so sorry you're hurt and I hope you feel better soon!

On a more self-serving level, I'm sorry he won't be moving to SF, as that might induce you to move as well and I'd get to have you nearby! =)

I know! But my daughter - I share custody 50/50 with my ex and I don't want to (and legally could not) take her away from him, or from my parents with whom she is very close. we just moved her and changed schools last year, she is just getting on her feet after starting all over, I would hate to move her, make her start all over, in a totally new city with no family anywhere near.
BUT, since he will be traveling there often, and I can work remotely sometimes, I just might be able to visit!

Nothing against Charlotte, but these days I see her as so completely different from the person I knew back in ATL that it tends to slip my mind that custody is something you'd have to contend with. *wan smile*

Yeah, that can be difficult. I'm negotiating some with my ex at the moment over Sprout arrangements just so I can move to the other side of the Bay. I imagine it would be a nightmare to deal with such issues for a move across the country.

So, I'll take it! I hope it all goes awesome and that you do get to visit! I miss your face. And the rest of you, too.
