Well that SUCKS!! I just got an new mp3 player about a month ago, and Ive already missplaced it or it was stolen... :( so I gott get another, cause it was one of the motivators I had to run/bike with. So I was pricing cruise lines today, just for fun, and seemed interested in one, but ive already decided that Im going to do my road trip in april/ ( Read more... )

ahhh, it sucks how you lose something valuable..or it's stolen. bah. i hope it turns up [if you misplaced it that is.]

and i'm hoping to tour around europe someday! haha, that'll have to be in a looong time though.. :p where are you again?

well i figured the hell with it, and bought a newer one today, gotta love AMAZON!! got me one for 100.64 cents, which kinda bought itself, because with my change from lunch today (.75 cents) I played the slot machines and only put in 75 cents, and got out 110$ it was great. Kamra is COOL!!!

well just this deployment, ive been to:
Guam, Philipeans, Singapore, Bahrain, Djibouti, Diego Garcia,Kandahar, and India.
last deployment was, Misawa Japan, Kadena Japan, Tokyo Japan, Osan South Korea, Pusan South korea, Adelade Australia, Sydney Australia, Anderson AFB Guam, Singapore, and hawaii where I reside...thats about it for the navy,

no, it was an airport, I usually dont stay in camps, one because im the part of the navy that never sees a boat, unless we fly over them, and I dont stay in camps unless we det out to kandahar or kuwait, djbouti, etc basically places with no hotels. Our planes are too big to go onto a ship, thats why I dont go on a ship.

Hope you'll be bringing lots of money to travel on yer road trip because gas has gotten extreemely pricy lately in the states.

It was an ok det, workin like 17 hours a day though, beacuse we had to stand watches by the plane, the watches were stupid, "here hold this unloaded shotgun, and if you need bullets they are locked in the lock box upstairs" Oh great, so if someone actually shot at us, we would have to run up stairs unlock the box, load the gun, just to be able to shoot back...fuckin idiots...sometimes I hate the navy.LOL! That sounds like the navy!!Harr,at least you got guns while standing duty as a sentry. :F Maybe they just give you guns for intimidation purposes only?THEY don't NEED to know those guns aren't loaded,know what I'm saying? :P ( ... )

Ha ha, about the money.. im not eactly worried about that, Im P-3 navy, so I make something called Per Diem, which means lotsa $$$, plus ill be getting a reenlistment bonus on november 1st. And to top that, Im used to hawaii's gas prices of 2.48 cents a gallon, and that was before I left for deployment.

And I cant wait to tell my stories...Ive got plenty already. ;)

very interesting, is he civialian or in military? Im hoping to get to tour europe in 2006, with all the time off ill have for that year, that will complete my "around the world trip deal" Ive been told since im going to live in Iceland in may, that I can catch free trips, through the military up to the north pole...so I plan on doing that also..even though I hate cold weather....

His job requires him to travel around the world and teach others about save sex/pregnancy and so on. He works in Washington and i havent really heard much about his job except what my mom has said, but i do hear a lot about the people he meets. He can speak 7 other languages and if you were to see him overseas you would think he had lived there for years. Except his skin color of course =D
