This is alexandriabrown. Lucy passed away about 9:15 this morning. She had a peaceful night and just slipped away. She's at rest now and isn't suffering.

She was the best person I've ever known.

In so many of her posts over the years you were the star. Your friendship must have been a treasure for both of you.

Thank you for letting us know. Lucy made so many people smile and laugh and think and feel. Both through her stories and her LJ. She will be missed and the world is a little dimmer today.

Lucy was a fantastic person, someone who I will miss sorely.

Lucy was such a neat person. We didn't talk often, but she was part of some big moments in my life. I'll never forget her. I am so happy that she was able to have a peaceful passing.

Lucy was the person who got me into fandom, although I don't think she ever really realized it. And she made my day as Mona, before I ever met her in person, and then so much more after I actually knew her. I'll miss her so much, as we all will. I'm so glad you were both with her, and she was allowed to be home surrounded by love and all the things she enjoyed.
