It's sad about LJ. It was a fun place for years. I'm going to keep my LJ open until I can figure out how to transfer it to Dreamwidth and then I'll shut it down.

Today is day 1 of my 10 day Christmas vacation. I love my job very much, but I've been teetering close to mental exhaustion for a while now, so this break is really appreciated. I was watching Death Ride last night and thinking that I didn't know anything about the actress who played Linda Williams so I looked her up on IMDB. I was sad to find out that she passed away just a few weeks ago on October 7th at age 71. I just got back from the store, and while I was carrying the bags into the house my dog greeted me with her usual bouncing joy to see me again. Whether I've been gone an hour or a day she greets me like she hasn't seen me in a year.
