I'm thinking through an Africander piece, and I'm hitting an idea for Somalia, which is very cool and interesting.

Thing is, I've decided to do this from one character's POV and I don't know how to get them into any of the conversations.

Okay, is there a plausible way, that goes with the flow of the narrative, for your preferred character to hear the necessary conversations (with, or without, the other parties knowing he/she is there)? Might that work?

Possible. I mean, I'm kinda planning to use that elsewhere in the greater story, but it's somewhat classic.
