squirrel sex?

Does anyone here happen to know how squirrels sound while they're have sex? I think I might. *gg* The other night, I woke up in the middle of the night (or more like 3 in the morning, actually) to some animal noise I've never heard in my entire life. It wasn't a bird, it wasn't a cat. Somewhere in between, that's the closest description I could ( Read more... )

Squirrels can go on for an hour, impressive. ;) That goes along that rumor/fact (not sure which one) that a pig's orgasm lasts thirty minutes. (Lucky bitches.)

And congrats! Feeling useless is a horrible feeling, I'm happy you'll be rid of it soon. Good luck with everyting!

"Squirrels can go on for an hour, impressive. ;)" Well, that's assuming it really were squirrels to begin with. I'd say that's quite likely, though. ^^ I didn't know about those lucky, lucky pigs, but here's something they mentioned in a documentary on TV the other day: male ladybirds are "blessed" with such an enormous sex drive that, quite often, it's too much for their mates (meaning: those won't survive their coupling!)--as they can go on for . . . what was it? 36 hours or something along those lines?! Makes you wonder what mood Nature was in when those little buggers were created, doesn't it? lol

Thanks for the congrats! :) With the way things have been going lately, it certainly is something to look forward to, despite the granted stress. :P I'm running out of options anyway, so now I'm eventually doing what everyone expected of me. Maybe I'll be happy with this choice-that-never-really-was-my-own after all. . . .

The "left over" post makes me rather angry. ARG! What were they thinking? But the other position sounds much more positive. That will start in January? I look forward to hearing about it.

I must, however, disagree with you. You are not useless! Let's see... who was it in those photos that you sent me that was working right along side her husband, digging trenches, painting rooms, stripping old wardrobes, re-doing the floor, creating gorgeous banners/art, gardening, harvesting, planting trees, being a moral support to her hubby, learning to sketch, sewing, translating pattern instructions... and so on and so forth.

*gives Luine a stern look* I do believe that talented person is you, my dear.

As for the squirrel sex... goodness! An hour, eh? ^^ (lol!)

Yes, the belated offer made me rather angry, too. Furious, rather. But that is that, and I will start training in February now (as opposed to November, as originally planned). I'll make sure to keep you posted.;)

By the way, the hubby heard that mysterious animal noise last night, too. He isn't any more sure about the source than I am, so we'll stick to squirrels as the possible "verdicts" until we're taught different.^^

*smiles at rest of post* Thanks a bunch, dear. Yes, you're right, I'm helping out and tackling quite a number of different tasks, there's no denying it, although I sometimes forget to remind myself. *smiles some more* But it's above all the financial aspect that's been gnawing at me for a long, long while. Money IS tight with all the repairs and works around the house, and I know that's been quite some strain on the hubby alongside with everything else. That's mainly what I was referring to. *hugs*
