On Wednesday evening, Yuukan came home with a slight limp, caked in dirt and stinking like hell. Luckily, the limp didn't last and she had no visible injuries, so we assume that she'd gone snooping around at the deer shelter/barn on our neighbouring meadow and had maybe just fallen into a barrel of silage. Brought my car to the garage yesterday for its regular check-up, some minor repairs and tyre change. Well, that was the plan, anyway. Turns out the minor repairs weren't the only repairs needed. fun weekend
Last weekend was great: we went to a Halloween-themed party on Saturday and enjoyed breakfast in town and a trip to the cinema on Sunday. The weather was lovely too (if rather cold), so we combined the day in town with a nice, long walk. Perfect. -

The joys of modern education
A couple of years ago, it became obligatory to introduce students to the basics of film analysis in English. This also means that there's an exam on it, in which the students are usually shown a scene from a film and have to analyse the camera work.

Denmark, kittens, library, and the Hobbit
Week after week passes in a blur as I keep having weeks of 70+ working hours. I just don't know what I'd do without the lovely, sweet and perfect hubby, who takes care of nearly all the chores around the house, and who never forgets to feed me. :P
