After about fifteen glasses of iced green tea over sushi this past evening, I find myself energized and unable to sleep. I've been drawing again. I'm currently working on a portrait for Astoreth*, because the fantasy art available doesn't allow much room for shorter, curvier gals with dark skin. Writing by dice.
There are many ways in which it is more fun to play D&D in person than by email. Jokes and dice fly across the table. There is a drama to watching a 20-sided die fall from the Dungeon Master's hand. There's a tactile pleasure to knocking over the miniatures of routed foes. Roleplay becomes theater improv. Everyone is there, in the moment, enjoying ( Read more... ) -

So my burst of creativity apparently dried up again. I know I should be trying to write every day - I feel better when I'm more productive - but it's coming in fits and starts. I'll have interesting things floating around in my head, but by the time I sit down to write it out, it's all jammed up and coagulated and nothing comes out when I expect it ( Read more... ) -

Oh the geeky nerdiness.
I spent pretty much the whole day yesterday and a considerable chunk the day before just writing. This was incredibly exciting, because I've not written anything longer than an IM message for months and months. So what did I write during the glorious hours that the muse had me in his* grasp?
