Shutting Down

I know being shut down emotionally is easier, I do it myself when I can no longer bear the pain caused by those I either care for as friends or love. As it is I'm doing the same now, and I know you are better than me in dealing with things that hurt. You helped me through times where doing so seemed the easiest path. As such, regardless of what I may be in, I want you to know that I'll be here for you.
