haha I would love to, but I'm not too sure it would go down too well when I ask my JTE to translate it.

How about you write about all the ways Japan isn't really that different from NZ, that you may have perhaps thought it would have been? I'd defnitely mention bad as well as good things too, to make it actually be worth something as opposed to a mere Japanese jingoistic fluff piece.
