I wouldn't know what books to recommend you. I think the one course book I thoroughly enjoyed last year was Kafka's Metamorphosis and Other Stories. Just because it's a little bit weird compared to everything else. Oh and any flash fiction or micro fiction you can find by Amy Hemple.

Your life sounds crystalline, what I would give to spend a week in your shoes.

Anything by Neil Gaiman. Neverwhere, American Gods, Anansi Boys, Stardust, I even think you may like the Sandman comics :)

I AGREE. I was just about to recommend Neil Gaiman. Try Jane Austen too, her dainty language really makes my day!

I can't believe you could bear to move out of your old room! It was so cluttered and lovely, I would have very much wished to have had it. Dear whats your new address then? Pray tell,

Anna Karenina. I walk around despondently hoping that someday one of my friends will read Anna Karenina. Nabokov is also pretty great, I love this one short story of his, "Gods," it is absolutely amazing. Ursula, Under by Ingrid Hill is great light reading and...hmmm... oh Andre Dubus is one of my absolute favorites, one of the ones I quote and paraphrase a lot. Not Andre Dubus III, he is a different dude though also good I hear. His stories are mishmashed into a lot of different collections but the one I have and love is We Don't Live Here Anymore though the very first story doesn't do much for me.
*shuts up about books*

I'm glad your life seems to be going so well m'friend. Next time I can get myself on aim we will chatter :)
