Was it customary at anyone else's middle or high school to give balloons and bouquets to birthday people? I was just reminiscing the other day while admiring all the pretty flowers in the gift section of the grocery store.

It wasn't really customary at my school, but my friends and I gave each other glorious Public Humiliation on each other's birthdays by singing to them all the different birthday songs we could think of. Which are only... three... but we could sing the standard one in Korean, Spanish and French! =D

Yeah totally! I have fond memories of tying ridiculous amounts of balloons to someone's backpack and watching them try to go through their day with it. XD
