i'm glad to hear it went well. which uni and what course? i've never had a uni interview, i'd be too terrified. actually, i did have one but i didn't turn up. it was only for some crappy third-rate ex-poly so it didn't bother me when they turned me down. la. good luck good luck with the outcome!

Not that I particularly subscribe to any beliefs about Good and Bad universities. I know several people who go to Cambridge, for example, and I've always considered them reasonably ..... not stupid, but kind of dull, uninspiring, stultifyingly mediocre. I'm reserving judgement until I actually start the course; I figure I'll actually be in a position to comment then. If the course is rubbish & unchallenging then I'll transfer; if I'm enjoying it I'll stay on.

i had a place at manchester met for english lit BA too. as for no a-levels... snap?
i was dead set on going and would still like to because it is the most interesting, varied and flexible course i have seen.
