I'm doing better today. With a lot of prayer, and the support of my family I'm beginning to come out of my depression. I'm trying to look at the positive sides of everything, like the things Charlie can do with his career after this military course, and the financial gain that will come from it. I lost the baby. I miscarried a week ago, and have been in and out of the hospital since. Charlie was able to stay an extra week, but he's just left. It's 5am and the house is dark and silent and I feel as though I cannot breathe. This moment, this very moment, is the lowest I've been. Ever.

Charlie got a call from the military today, and he is leaving on Sunday for three months of training. Just a couple of weeks after I find out I'm pregnant, he finds out he has to leave. For three months.
This means I have to find a babysitter, since I work in the evenings and Charlie is usually home to watch her. It means I have to get used to ( Read more... ) -

I'm home from work tonight, partly because of the huge storm we're having, and partly because I feel completely run down. Growing a person is a lot of work! Speaking of which, I've had my first doctor's appointment and my due date is October 12th. A LONG way go to yet.

I am so tired. Seriously. I cannot remember when I have felt this exhausted. I'm beginning to 'feel' pregnant, with bouts of nausea hitting me more often, and the constant feeling that I could fall asleep at any moment. A couple of weeks ago I mentioned a stomach virus that I had. Just my luck, I got sick a second time around, and this time it hit me twice as hard. I got sick late monday night and until about an hour ago was unable to keep down even water. I can't remember the last time I felt so miserable, or slept that long.
