A really awesome thing happened today. I got offered the OA position at Merit. Nicole is leaving for a different job and Susan (the owner) recommended that I take over the position. i was reading City on the Hill Press today (the serious UCSC newspaper as opposed to the much better fake newspaper Fish Rap) and realized that they don't use a spell checker. I was just in Borders looking for an easy to read nutrition book with recipes and I came across the most disturbing/hilarious book title I have ever seen: "The Idiot's Guide to Fasting". Wouldn't any guide to fasting be an idiot's guide?

i just did my taxes, which was a pain in the ass since I'm a private contractor. This means that I don't get taxes immediately taken out of my paycheck. So, I have 190 to pay in taxes back. The weekend away from Santa Cruz was great. On Thursday night, Adam, Scott, Maddy, Charlie, and I went to go see the midnight showing of Pan's Labrynth, which was awesome. Davis definitely  dropped on my list of law schools to go to. I don't think I would have a hard time getting in as long as I did fairly well on the LSATs, but I wouldn't want to go there any way.
