Synopsis )
MAIN CHAPTER 8 PART 2 Yutaka didn't despise enigmas, on the contrary, he did find them quite pleasurable and entertaining. They were probably the perfect type of exercise to keep his ever-working mind trained, in order to face his subject of study, which, in a way, did revolve around the areas of the unknown, being the human mind, most likely one of the greatest mysteries ever existed. The simple fact that there were still so many questions left unanswered regarding the subject, was exactly what he enjoyed the most. It was that lingering consciousness that he would have succeeded where others, who were normally considered better than him in either wisdom or age, had failed. Moreover, the great acknowledgment that derived from making any discovery in the field, was certainly a gratifying reward as well, and in the eventuality that he were not to be righteously acknowledged, he would probably give himself a big pat on the back, congratulating himself, and leaving it at that. He really wasn't the type to fight for anything, deserved or not, the less turmoil, the better, which however, it recently made him sadly come to the realization, that even in such a forlorn place like the Hayashi manor, there was something that could be learned; Fight for what you think you deserve. Fight, to the point in which your opponents will firmly believe that all in all, defeat seems like a better option.
That being thought and reaffirmed, the logical conclusion would have been that he should have been immeasurably thrilled, for have been unwillingly bestowed with the honor of trying to solve this huge enigma called “Hayashi family”, which according to Father Byou, was all hidden behind those seven words, on that one piece of paper, he had been quietly and intently staring, sitting at his desk, in the quietness of his room. The paper, which was nonchalantly lying on his desk, next to his diary, was apparently the one thing that finally confirmed the fact, that the entire family, and not only Kazamasa, had serious issues, for he had already made the rather obvious connection that each quality on the paper corresponded to one of the blondes in the family.
However, that was one of the few things he had deduced so far in the past hour or more, and his expression had assumed a rather disappointed and distressed scowl, for the lack of substance of what he had just discovered. Among the banal conclusions he had reached, the fact that “Sloth” and “Greed” weren't an issue anymore, was one of them. However, he wasn't too sure that referring that conclusion as banal, was exactly true. The reason was that he could connect how sloth could somehow relate to Kazuhiro, the impassive, almost cowardice behavior he had observed in the blond, suddenly disappearing leaving no trace of that … sloth. However, who was greed? In his desperate view, it almost seemed like each and every single one of the components could suffer of this particular ...sin?; yes, they were sins.
And that one bit also finally clicked in his head, as he suddenly slapped his forehead, chiding himself for his momentary brain dullness, as he remembered that one book he had read written by an Italian writer named Dante Alighieri. The book was called “the Divine Comedy” and there was a part of it regarding Hell, which had to do with what the author, and so often the church, referred to as “the seven capital sins”. The apprentice kept nodding his head in agreement with his late discovery, wishing he had the book to further consult it in search for any other clue. However, at the moment, that wasn't his main issue, for he could have easily stopped at a library once he were to go downtown the following day, as promised by Kazuhiro, because he had only two empty pages left in his diary. Not that he recently had the urge of writing anything.
Getting up from his chair, he placed a hand beneath his chin, which was held up by his arm folded on his chest, and began to pace in the almost eerie quietness of his room, given that Kazuhiro and Kazamasa, who had insisted in escorting him to his room, left soon after with a mortified expression, or at least Kazuhiro did, Kazumasa's was as usual plain, as they both seemingly had other obligation. Needless to say, he took all his precaution, and locked both the main door, and the one to his bathroom.
He spent another good ten minutes, back and forth in the confines of his room, after which he suddenly stopped in his tracks, right in the middle of the room, looked towards the paper on the desk, and nodded for the umpteenth time. The strong feeling that he was on the right path, making him release a little grin, which almost felt out of place on his proven features, not having performed the gratifying gesture in quite sometime since his arrival to the residence. Once again, he also tried to convince himself that what he was doing, wasn't only for a personal satisfaction, in fact, the way things were at the moment, his solving of this particular mystery, might have brought happiness in the entire world, and peoples of all countries will be singing odes to him, such as “Uke Yutaka the legendary martyr, whom bravely placed Hell out of Earth”; he wasn't predicting to survive at the end of it. Thus, it was a simple matter of looking at the bright side of things, as he had been raised to do, even though somehow, no matter how hard he tried, “bright side” and “Hayashi manor” just didn't seem to match in the least; there wasn't any “bright side” about being in hell anyway, was there?
However, there still remained that one big issue, which was looming and disturbing his will and ability of solving this case, and it was the simple, and yet complicated, fact that no matter how he looked at the whole situation, in the very end, really wasn't a mystery at all. If Father Byou was able to erase two words from it, it meant that he obviously knew something that he was obviously missing. Such perception was made even stronger, given that the more he thought about it, the more he realized that for any educated person, such as himself, the connection with the seven capital sins, should have been rather immediate, meaning that the real enigma was something else. That was to say, if there really where something else, for he had already got used to the demoralizing fact, that people in that residence, simply finding it rather enjoyable to toy with him for no reason whatsoever.
Nevertheless, if there really where some other reason, and father Byou where to actually be aware of it, it came to the end that it really wasn't a mystery, thus there would have been no world glory form him, but most above all, it would all culminate in a big waste of time on his side. Merely that thought, was causing an insane amount of confusion in his thought process, and a massive headache, all mixed with quite a great amount of repressed anger, which brought him right back to that one never-dying, and yet not properly answered, question; why him? Why was it necessary for Yutaka to deal with this?
The apprentice was about to sigh in renewed defeat, when an unidentified sound, caught his attention; again. Something, was outside his door. He hadn't been sure, at first he thought it was the work of his overly panicked mind, but this had been the fourth time, and there was no more conjectures to be made. What he had just heard, was the distinctive sound, of something, most likely a body, sliding on a door. His door. Cursing himself for not having any sort of weapon, aside from that turned out useless but still better than nothing letter-opener, he swiftly grabbed the pointed metallic object, which was lying on the floor by the desk, and cautiously walked towards his main entrance.
-W-who- loudly squealed the brunette, immediately closing his mouth, feeling his blood rush to his cheeks, for the embarrassing sound his mouth emitted. Coughing out, in order to swiftly reacquire his regular tone of voice, he reprimanded himself for having faltered so soon; so much for acting more brave, and manly. He then took a second or two, to recollect himself, and clearing his voice once more, he slowly got closer to the door.
-... Who … is it?- he then inquired, this time, in a much manlier tone, which had himself surprised as well; he didn't know he could sound that low.
-I said move, god damn it!- yelled a rather angry voice, whose owner, he immediately recognized, could be none other than Akira, and such realization made the hand that was clenching the letter-opener, begin it's routine set of tremblings. Did the apparently constantly enraged blond, ever got tired of being perpetually irate? Wondered Yutaka, for it surely must have been energy consuming to be constantly screaming, scowling and glaring.
-... Don't play with me - loudly hissed the blond, leaving the brunette rather scared, but also quite confused. It didn't appear like the blond was actually talking to him, deduction, which was confirmed when he suddenly heard the sound of a second deep voice.
-I have received specific orders to protect Mr.Uke here, from anyone, whom appears to won't to cause him any harm … and from Hayashi Akira … in particular, among other few - replied the voice, in what was supposed to be a serious tone, but in which the apprentice could sense a bit of sauciness, and also a little chuckle, or at least so he thought he heard, now that his ear was glued on the door. If only there was some sort of hole, or something that could allow him to see who actually was outside his door; he was now seeing all the pros in having said hole to look out of a door, as his friend Yune, who was an inventor, was projecting back in Inverness, and was trying to convince him of its practicability.
-I have no time for this, get out of my way, I simply need to talk to him- quickly retorted the blond, making the apprentice jolt away from the door, and newly raising his letter-opener, expecting the blond to suddenly find his way past whomever was in front of the door at the moment, and blast into his room.
-Whatever it is you need to say, you can tell me … and I'll tell him … it is a simple as that … Akira- calmly replied the other voice, soon after which, the distinctive sound of a body being slammed against a door could be loudly and clearly heard, as Yutaka's eyes quickly widened in terror, almost feeling sorry for the stranger; almost, for it was always better than himself being slammed. The apprentice could then hear the blond hissing something in reply, but it was too low for him to comprehend, for he was now also standing way away from the door; there was absolutely nothing at the moment, that could convince him to get back to that door, and as he turned to look at his window, he suddenly wished he had wings. The second voice was now also replying, but still he couldn't quite discern what was said, and he had no time to make conjectures, for two gentle knocks suddenly resounded in the internal quietness of his room.
-Mr. Uke? Hayashi Akira needs to deliver you a message ...- nonchalantly announced the voice -... if you do not wish to hear him out, I will be more than glad to send him away … though it doesn't seem anything threatening … - composedly added the voice, leaving Yutaka stupidly blinking to himself in utter bewilderment; how was a body being slammed on a door not threatening? But most above all, was that person really sent to protect him? Did that mean that Dr. Niikura had after all, taken pity on his poor soul, and felt compelled to send aid?
-I understand the door is locked, you may leave it as so, and he can talk from here if you prefer ...- resumed the voice -however, in the eventuality, you decided you wanted to give him the courtesy of opening the door, I will make sure to keep him … at bay- clarified the voice, as Yutaka, shakily and slowly walked back towards the door, while he thought about what was wise to do next. For all he knew it could have been a trap.
-I am truly not trying to trick you Mr. Uke … I swear on my honor … I will protect you- swiftly added the voice in a gentle tone, which momentarily set the apprentice off guard, for the short moment of telepathy he they had experienced; he would have to add telepathy in his things to study list, it would really come in handy.
Perhaps he was curious to acknowledge the face pertaining to the voice of his supposed protector, or perhaps his instincts told him that he could trust the man. He couldn't quite pin-point why, but he decided he was going to open the door. Worst case scenario, he would have been manhandled by a very angry human being, but he could deal with that now. No he couldn't, not really. However, it would have been a satisfaction to know that he would have taken a step closer to acting manly, by performing such an act of bravery just before his death. Thus, he cautiously placed his mildly trembling fingers on the key, and slowly turning the golden object, he closed his eyes, and pulled the door open, speed walking away from the entrance with it.
Hearing no voices coming from the opened way, he slowly opened his eyes, and saw Akira intently staring at him, and the back of the second person, who was right beside Akira. The stranger had black everything; hair, clothes, boots. He was rather sloppily leaning on his side of the door.
The stranger's posture, had him forget the precarious security he though he had found, not understanding how anybody could effectively protect anyone with such a nonchalant stand. However, his distrust was quick to vanish into thin air, as soon as Akira, attempting to enter his room, was suddenly and rather swiftly blocked by the brunette, who shoved his hand on the other side of the door, and lightly turning towards the blond, who was readily glaring at him, he raised his other hand, and waved his index finger in negation into the blond's face, amusingly grinning in the process.
-... He can hear you from here - explained the brunette, smiling at the lawyer, who slowly closed his eyes, and for once, took a deep breath, as if realizing he was really on the verge of exploding.
As soon as the blond reopened his eyes, he was facing the apprentice, his expression seemingly ready to form into his typical scowl, but had a sudden unexpected change. He was staring at a particular part of Yutaka's body, at which his face slowly to morph into a disturbing mixture of sadness and disbelief, as he slowly shifted his head to the side, averting his gaze with it as well.
Not understanding the blond's sudden reaction, Yutaka swiftly looked at himself in the direction the blond had been staring, and realized that he had unknowingly, maybe as a reaction to Akira's sudden attempt to enter the room, shoved his letter-opener right in front of him in a defensive manner. Not quite understanding the reason why he was starting to feel sorry, for having caused such a reaction in the blond, instead of rejoicing for an apparent victory, he lowered the letter-opener, and hid it behind his back, averting his own gaze as well.
-Do not be late for dinner ...- lowly spoke Akira, still maintaining his distant posture -... lateness will not be tolerated- he then concluded, and with no further specifications he parted from the entrance, leaving Yutaka as confused as ever, if possible, and alone with the brunette stranger, who observed the blond's retreat, then slowly turned his sloped figured towards Yutaka, and smiled, as he folded his arms in his chest.
-I ...- began Yutaka, shyly looking away from the brunette. He had the impression he had seen him before, but couldn't quite place him, which was a weird thing in itself, considering how unbearably handsome the man was, probably, the real reason why he had averted his gaze in the first place - I … I thank you sir- he then resolved to say, bowing at the brunette
-Not to mention, for I am at your service, it was merely logical for me to have done so ...- replied the brunette, also politely bowing at the apprentice.
-Might you have, by any chance, been sent by Dr. Niikura, sir … - then inquired Yutaka, wanting more than ever to confirm the hypothesis that Dr. Niikura hadn't really left him to himself.
-My name is Shiroyama Yuu ...- replied the brunette, once again bowing -... and I am afraid I do not know Dr. Niikura ... not personally at least - he composedly explained -as for the person who sent me, I am sure you are familiar with Hayashi Takanori- he then revealed, newly placing himself on the edge of the door, staring at Yutaka, with what could only be described as random interest.
-Ta-takanori? - bemusedly replied Yutaka - that ... cannot be … why ... why would he?- hesitantly inquired the apprentice, not bothering in hiding all the skepticism he had in his tone.
-Well … - rather carelessly replied Yuu -... I believe the lad has feelings for you ... Mr. Uke - he plainly stated, sealing his sentence with a friendly smile.
-Feelings … right … feelings … for me ...- whispered the apprentice, trying to make sense to the rather unequivocal words that had just been uttered by the brunette, not quite sure what meaning to actually read in them-... ehm … could you please elaborate on exactly … what you mean by … feelings?- he then resolved to ask, even though, he had a sense of what the answer could be, only, it simply couldn't have been. At least, not between to males.
-He likes you ...- calmly replied the taller with a subtle tone of mock amusement
-As in … he considers me an intelligent human being, and would like to collaborate with me in future scientific projects? - attempted the apprentice, and soon after frowned observing the delighted laughter that appeared on the taller man's feature, as he left his position, and gracefully began to walk towards him.
-... As in … - he then resumed, gently reaching for the apprentice's still hidden hand, bringing it forward, and slowly, opening one by one each of his fingers that were still clenched around the letter-opener, gently grabbing the object and throwing it on the bed -... would like to hold hands with you ...- he began explaining, closing his hand into the one of the apprentice. Then, he slowly walked behind Yutaka, keeping their hands locked together, clasping the other as well, and bringing them up to the apprentice's chest, embracing him, and causing the shorter brunette's heartbeat to take a hike -... embrace you and most certainly … - continued the brunette, placing his chin on the shorter's shoulder, slightly leaning to the side, in order to look at the apprentice -... kiss you- he then concluded, pecking him on the cheek, and soon after releasing him, leaving a rather absent looking Yutaka to battle with the mixed emotions in his mind, and body, as he slowly turned his head backwards, his eyes bemusedly in search of the mysterious brunette.
He knew he ought to have had some sort of revolting emotion, or his usual defensive reaction, from having been touched the way he had, by another man, the same way he'd felt used and abused the times that Takahiro, Takamasa, and even Takanori had. However, he didn't, that fact solely was clear, yet he had no idea what to think of it. Then, on a second thought, he felt like he couldn't quite place Yuu in the mix of all the Takas, for his touch had been different; entirely different. Even though he could sense the slight teasing tone, he had been gentle, considerate, his actions didn't seem to be aimed at hurting him. Happy? Distressed? Confused? He didn't know what it was exactly, but whatever it was, it would have been his first time feeling it, and even though he couldn't see himself, he was quite sure he was blushing at that very moment.
-You seem ... confused … - smiled the taller, walking back to his post at the door, and slumping back to its side -... was I not clear enough?- he inquired, at which question the apprentice swiftly shook his head in negation.
-N-not at all … it was … rather clear -he replied, his voice culminating into a shy whisper, as he detached his staring gaze from the brunette -I just … can't seem to ...- he then attempted, not knowing how to correctly state his words -... usually … being both ...-
-Being both men? - calmly questioned the brunette, while the apprentice simply nodded in response, his gaze still very much fixed on his shoes, which apparently most have been funny enough, for it provoked another smirk from the other - … Do you think it bizarre or maybe wrong, for two beings of the same gender to sentimentally, and, or, corporeally, love each other? - he then questioned, as Yutaka quickly glimpsed at him
-I honestly … never considered it even an option … thus -began the apprentice, uncomfortable shifting his weight on another foot - … I truthfully do not know.
-... Did you feel somehow sickened by any of my actions ... Mr. Uke?- Yuu politely inquired
-... No … not really ...- uncertainly replied the apprentice, fidgeting with his fingers.
-Well there you have your answer - plainly replied the brunette, flashing a sincere smile at the yet confused brunette, and still gaze averting brunette.
So was the way we felt … that? Was he … having feelings … for ... another man? That man standing right in front of him? He had never had sentimental interest, for anybody before, sure he'd had his share of crushes on a few of the beautiful ladies in Inverness, but nothing compared with what he still clearly felt at the moment. He suddenly felt like he did want to hold hands with the brunette again, or newly be embraced, and surprisingly enough, at least to himself, he did want to feel those lips on him again, ... and again. Once more he couldn't see his expression, but he could feel his face literally burn at his recent thought of process. Hoping that the other hadn't yet caught on his new color tone, he quickly walked towards his window, in an attempt to hide form the other.
He hadn't expect to fall for somebody in his present circumstances, and most certainly not for a man, which no matter how his rational mind was trying to deny it, he knew better, and there was no mistake in the way he felt. However, what surprised him the most, was the rapidity with which he was falling for the brunette, and also the way it all happened. Nothing to be really surprised about though, he had heard about the blessings and damnation of Love, and with all due honesty, he really didn't know if he could afford that in his present state of affairs, though his heart told a completely different story; a very eager, longing and different one.
-Still … regarding Takanori, if what you state is true ...- he then resumed, trying to assume a firmer voice tone -... I beg to differ but, that wasn't exactly the way I would think, or want, to treat a person ... I think I might like - he concluded, trying to spot the taller with the corner of his eye.
-I most certainly agree, however, in his defense, I will say that he positively believed he would have won the bet, and by doing so keep you away from Takahiro- explained the other
-The fact still remains that there was a fifty-fifty chance of him losing, and- tried to explain Yutaka, but was interrupted by the taller
-I have already reprimanded him for it, do rest assured. He did learn his lesson - began to explain the taller - he feels mortified, he truly does, and in order to try and make amends, he sent me, his own bodyguard, to protect you instead- he continued, maintaining a calm demeanor in his speech, which could be successfully performed, only by a rather confident person. However, there was no hint to any sense of superiority, which in itself, was rather remarkable to the apprentice -He … can be rather eccentric, he has a unique way of doing things, and may be considered a whole lot avaricious but … given that he has sent me to you, and that I am most likely one of his most expensive possession … I would feel compelled to believe that he is truly fighting with himself to bring out a better self. More altruistic, and most certainly...less greedy- he concluded with a light chuckle.
-... Less greedy uh … - skeptically whispered Yutaka, who was still to get over the whole shock of Takanori being one of the people behind that detested night -... less ...greedy ...- he whispered once more, somehow feeling as if his brain was trying to make him notice something about one of the two words - less ... greedy - he loudly whispered once more, feeling he was getting close to that hint -...greedy?!- he then yelped, rushing towards his desk and picking up the piece of paper on the desk, and finally connecting the dots. Takanori was Greed, and with that, now he was left with other five capital sins, out of which, he didn't have a doubt whom Wrath could be; absolutely no mistake in that one.
-Anything the matter? ...-suddenly asked Yuu, as the apprentice, tried to nonchalantly replace the paper on the table, smiling at the taller.
-No not at all Mr. Shiroyama ...- he replied, pondering on how beautiful was even just the sound of his name, and soon after he mentally slapped himself, in order to concentrate on his task -... you somehow managed to help me, in my research, thank you - he added
-How so?- curiously asked the brunette, his grin ever so calmly decorating his serene features
-Well it is a little hard to explain ...- hesitantly replied Yutaka, smiling apologetically
-Not to worry, I am simply glad I was of service … - assured the brunette, slightly bowing his head.
-... and thank you so much, for … doing this ...- thanked Yutaka, vaguely alluding to his situation
-I am not the person to be thanked ...- kindly replied the brunette - just so you remember, one little blond is your benefactor - he added, reaching for the door -... dinner will be ready soon, thus to avoid the wrath of the big bad blond, I'd advise you to get prepared Mr.Uke - kindly suggested the brunette, as Yutaka walked towards him, seeing the other ready to close the door.
-Sure … I should do so ...I am not too fond of that the big bad blond either ...- he giggled in reply once in front of the brunette, barely managing to keep eye contact, as he felt himself blushing once more.
-I will be out here … keeping my post, so please ...- explained the taller brunette, bowing his head once more, and with a last genuine smile, he closed the door, leaving Yutaka still very immobile in front of it, almost like in a daze, wondering what was the other doing, whether he was standing up straight, or leaning on the edge of the door, or would have simply loved to spend the rest of the day staring at him very nonchalantly. That train of thought kept rushing through his mind, as he cursed the door, for being a door, and blocking him from viewing one of the best sights he had seen so far; he would have to remember to buy letter-paper, Yune really needed to get on that peep-hole assignment, as soon as possible.
Speaking of which, he had his own assignment to solve as well. Now that he had identified, those who he had somehow already managed to help, he had to figure out who was who in the rest of the least and help them as well. However, the truth of the matter was that he had no idea he had helped Kazuhiro and Takahiro in the first place, thus he didn't even know were to start with the remaining people, supposing he had somehow managed to identify them.
-... Great, just great ...- he cynically whispered to himself, removing his shirt, and reaching for a black one int his closet, as he lightly pondered on the idea of having to help Akira with his problem. Then again, that was exactly what he was, a doctor of the mind, thus there really wasn't any injustice in that task; if it weren't for the fact that they were asking him to cure the devil himself. That being admitted, he still resolved to keep the enraged blond for last, because he did want to have a shot at being able to solve the other cases, figuring he would most likely die trying with the lawyer. Sighing, he began to think that he should have listened to the headmaster of his orphanage, who sustained he should have striven to become an artist of some kind, perhaps a musician, and at the moment, sounded quite appealing.
Fixing his Brown jacket, and darker brown pants, he looked in the mirror, and fixed his hair, which was completely unusual, on his behalf, but he resolved it was due to the attractive presence out of the door, where he was now completely revolved towards, and taking on big breath, he calmly walked in its direction.
-I am ready ...- he nervously announced, after opening the door, finding the brunette, leaning on the opposite wall, looking at him with a complacent smile.
-Wonderful ...- replied the brunette leaning off the wall -... I shall follow behind you, it is easier to keep things under control - he explained, extending a hand out indicating Yutaka to lead the way
-Sure ...- shyly replied the apprentice, feeling a bit subconscious for having the taller walking right behind him. Not like his back had some sort of weird shape or anything; or so he hoped. They began to walk in silence, as the idea of having to meet the Hayashi all together once more, was starting to weigh on him the more he got closer to the ramp of stairs that would have taken them to the dining room. Apparently. He most have tensed up, or something along that, for the brunette behind him suddenly spoke.
-Please do relax Mr. Uke. It is my duty to make sure that nothing happens to you ...- he assured, at which words the apprentice immediately felt a whole lot better, considering that he had seen Yuu in actions with Akira. It hadn't been anything brutal, but still efficient. Keeping that in mind, he slightly turned around, to nod and smile at the brunette, as they reached the first floor, and as soon as they got in front of the yet empty dining room, they both stopped in order to wait for the others.
A few second later, Yasuno's figure appeared from the direction of the main entrance, and was walking towards them -Good evening Mr.Uke. - he frimly greeted - Please, do allow me to apologize, for what took place earlier in the gardens. It was must certainly a most despicable show to have to witness, or to be involved with ...- he excused, and then politely bowed at the shorter brunette, whom exchanged the gesture, with a circumstantial smile. Then turning towards the taller brunette, he resumed in his speech -... and sir you might be? … - he gracefully inquired, questioningly looking at the brunette.
-Shiroyama Yuu, we have never got the chance to meet, Mr. Hayashi, but I have heard about you from Akira. It is an honor- he cordially replied, cautiously smiling, and bowing at the blond, whom mirrored the polite gesture.
-Is that so ... - replied Yasuno carefully eying the brunette- I have, as well, heard a lot about you … from Akira as well ...- explained the blond, putting particular emphasizes on the words “a lot” -and I was of the impression that … you were to be in company of my younger sibling … in a sort of different time and settings? ...- he questioned once more, his scrutinizing gaze not once abandoning the figure of the taller brunette.
-There was a slight change in plans, Mr. Hayashi - politely explained the brunette
-I see ...- dragged out the blond, now eying the brunette with a certain air of superiority, which Yutaka had manged to catch on - well, do please join us for dinner … we do have quite a lot to discuss tonight, but if you do not mind- he explained, receiving a slight shaking of the head by the bodyguard, which meant he didn't mind in the least - Great … so if you will- Yasuno then swiftly added, with a more relaxed tone and posture, proceeding inside the room. Yutaka was about to follow suit, when he heard the brunette whisper something.
-Smiling is what suits your features the most ...- he observed, referring to the fact that the shorter brunette's face had turned into a worried scowl, and making the brunette, turn instant red, as he swiftly revolved to look at the taller -... it would be a pity not to be blessed by the sight of it ...- he then smiled, and soon after requested the other to proceed inside the room, with a kind gesture of his hand, at which Yutaka dumbly smiled his one-dimpled smile, and maintaining said smile, he entered the room, wondering whether he would have been even able to concentrate on anything else other than Yuu, during his find-who-is-who-mission-dinner. It would have been hard; extremely and pleasurably hard.
