I couldn't crochet until a few months ago, when I found a Dalek pattern and just HAD to make one for myself. *gg*

Made some of the eggs for my sons Easter baskets. Wanted to show them to you, but I can't figure out how to insert a picture in comments!

I would love to see them! You can always just insert the url of the pic so it will become a link to click on. Or, you can use the code <*img src=""> : delete the asterisk and paste the url between the quotation marks. Hope this helps! :)

I think I figured it out... http://pics.livejournal.com/knitcrow/pic/00005150/g6
The college boy wandered out with his egg in hand and asked "Is this a Dalek or an egg?" I told him yes, it's both. His response? "This is awesome! This is epically awesome!"

This time I tackled the small Dalek. When I first crocheted a Dalek a few years ago, my intention was to use it to cover the room deodorizers that my teens rooms need. Amdowns pattern is awesome, but waaay too big. Your small Dalek is just right! I added extra stitches in rows 5,6,8,& 9 so it would slide on easily and not launch itself off as soon as I let go. I also added a row of half double crochet at the bottom. Hope you like it! http://pics.livejournal.com/knitcrow/pic/0000gzer/g6
