Lost - “The Man From Tallahassee” Game room scene vs. the “I Do” Glass Wall Scene

The Lost writers use repeated dialogue all the time, and I believe it’s done on purpose to compare or contrast the linked scenes. The glass wall scene in I Do of course had the beautiful visual mirroring of Kate and Jack’s reflected images blending into one another. ( Read more... )

Wonderful, mom. Just great. Our Jaters are just kicking ass lately with all the analysis posts. It's like a well has sprung after it's been dry for so long. I love that you parallel these scenes. How significant. Thanks for this.

When I was "scripting" the scene, I noticed all this and it really made me giddy because the Lost writers have ALWAYS been meticulous in how they choose their dialogue (it's why I pay too much attention to it). Thanks for this analysis, it's spot-on awesome!
