Interesting initial response. I think I also would have wondered if my number was up due to being in the wrong place when someone with a gun licence flipped out.

The response of the people is very telling. If it hadn't been someone semi-famous, I'm sure security or the police would have been called.

Honestly, the guy was so small, even if he'd been firing a gun the recoil would have probably knocked him out. Classic short guys syndrome, methinks.

It's also an interesting to think about the isolation of worlds one can live in when somebody famous can be hanging around and you have no idea because you live on a completely different wavelength.

Total agreement. See: "Careena and any television actor, page 12." I think I run into local television personalities all the time in stores and things, because I'll vaaaaaguely recognize someone, and they'll have this look like, "Yes, yes, I know you know I'm famous and you're so thrilllled to have this opportunity," and I just completely ignore them. It's kind of fun.

PS - celebrities being able to get away with bullshit like that is "wack." bad rapper! bad!

You should have kicked his ass.

It would have been cool to hear Kurt Loder say your name and giggle on MTV: "Laura Spooner slapped the platinum-plated teeth out of rapper T.I.'s mouth today when he got carried away berating another female friend of his. Missy Elliot is now rumoured to be seeking a collaboration with Spooner with the title, 'Respect '05' for her next album. When informed of the incident, T.I.'s mother was heard to say, 'Damn, what a lil' bitch-ass punk, gettin' beat by a honkey!"
