About the light pink exclusion layer, how did you have the pic still look normal except for that corner? When I do it the pic looks like a negative with a light pink background. When I tried turning down the opacity, it just made it more grey.
hmmm I don't know how you did that... basically you make sure your foreground color is light pink, background is white. Then you go to gradients, and immediately the first gradient you get is the one you want...so don't click on any other gradient. With me, it basically goes from light pink to transparent. Hope that helps..
I added another white layer under the gradient layer and set it to exclusion--that is the only way I could get it to work. I had the same negative pink issue. Although it looked interesting, not quite what was wanted. :)
