I'm up at school in my snazzy new townhouse. Got my room set up and it's very comfortable and very me. I put together a Gustav Klimt wall and a Marc Chagall one, too. And of course, the usual O'Keeffe, Van Gogh, and Orna Golan. My room is like a tiny art museum...yay ( Read more... )

I'm back home...*sigh*. I'll write more about the trip when I've recooperated. My parents picked me up from Anna's house this morning at around 1:30a.m. When we arrived home, they told me that my grandpa had died while I was in Paris. I'm kind of still in shock about it. We made it to London, amazingly. We ran late catching the train to the airport, then I had to pick up my luggage (YAY!), which was a catastrophe, but I have it now. So I'm here in Amsterdam. I can't sleep because I stayed up too late last night with Anna, Brandon, and his friends. This place is like another world. The drugs and sex and people speaking about a thousand different languages all around you, it's just so surreal. December 16th has finally arrived. I leave tonight at 6:10p.m. from Metro to Philadelphia. I have a 1 hour layover there and depart for Amersterdam at 8:40p.m. and I'm scheduled to arrive at AMS at 10:00a.m. tomorrow morning. So, we get to move into the new townhouse today! I'm so excited. Kyla and I just went over there and it's huge and so nice. It has 2 FULL baths (my house at home doesn't even have 2 bathtubs), central air, dishwasher, washer & dryer, and 5 bedrooms. It's basically a house, totally sweet...and CLEAN!
