Serenly sat in my dressing gown after a hot herbal shower, preparing to cut up half a melon as Matt revises for a job interview tomorrow. I recall seeing Sean Hellman's photography at his stall during WOMAD Festival last year. I own one of his prints rediscovered mid-unpacking, and thought I'd share some of his work here. Having moved into the new flat, almost completely (some furniture to come for my study), I feel much more relaxed and settled - aside from boxes everywhere. The weeks of late are going by rather rapidly, but also imporiving  - slowly, but meaningfully. The start of the week was tiring and my job felt harder to cope with than usual, but I have my more long term future to act upon now. A wonderful weekend of indulgence and relaxation. Began with watching Like Water for Chocolate - a romantic, sensual film. It reminded me of a mexican play I studied at A-Level (and can't recall the name of) - with lots of attention to symbolism, especially surrounding love and food.
