"The PLL signal travels across a motherboard bus, dedicated to timing, to dictate the frequency needed for the operation of other buses."
Sorry, I'd rather not create an entire journal entry based on something that boring.
Though the same arm's reach might also have yielded "Lazarus looked thoughtful." or "When Nullsoft posted the source codeto Gnutella on its website on March 14, 2000, America Online yanked the program within hours, but more than 10,000 people had already downloaded copies and spread them across the Internet." Well, that one is actually from page 24, because 23 was an illustration.
In other words, I'd have to really search to find something profound or entertaining. And by then I've broken the rules.
Yeah, I had a copy of Wired, Antigone, and a copy of The Ultimate Home Style Guide, a generic home design book. Wired had a three page ad that was all pictures. Of the other two, Antigone looked more interesting. Had I grabbed the furniture book it would be something about medieval style cusion covers with tassels.
I have a book about overclocking, which I am currently reading, a paperback of Time Enough for Love, and a book about file sharing all on my night stand. I don't know why, I guess my hand just landed on the overclocking book first.
No, you're supposed to be concerned because details of the rooftop have been removed. Or didn't you notice that it looked like something out of Sim City 2000?
Personally, I have bigger things to worry about. Though I am interested in something else: while panning around the area at full zoom, I came across a few buildings that were pixelated as if censored. I'm wondering if they were intentionally blurred that way, or if the satellite image's resolution simply wasn't that close.
Though now this makes me wonder. It would be surprising at all if some details of these were changed before they were archived. Isn't it interesting though that anyone can look online from anywhere and get arial photos of pretty much any address.
I noticed it looked like something out of Sim City, but I didn't give it much though. I dunno. Maybe they don't want people to see the anti-aircraft emplacements?
