On my way to work today I was behind a car with a bumper sticker that said, "Honk if you're feeling yiffy".
no. I did not honk.
I was shocked though.
I'm not sure if I was more shocked at seeing the sticker in podunk Dryden or that I knew what that meant.

Damn you CSI!!!!!

oh man, if I tell you it will give you nightmares.
....but like that would stop me, eh?
it's the word for furry love.
like..rubbing up against each other in their fuzzy mascot suits until they get off. It's called "yiffing"... which I only know because there was a furry murder on a CSI episode...honest.

I despise CSI. I happen to know that the commonly accepted version of the word "yiff" is being onomotopeia for the sound the foxes make while mating. Not tracking said animal around enough to observe this activity personaly, I can't provide firsthand observation. Only internet rumor.

Of the things I hate myself for stating, this is at least in the top ten. Mostly, I've been drinking and that makes it easier to pretend it's some piece of trivia I heard around some non-existant water cooler, but it doesn't help as much as I wish it would.

I love CSI. It's like they made the New Detectives into a soap opera. It borrows a lot of the same cases too.

Interesting about the foxes though. Now not only do I know what yiffing is, I know the etymology.
Furries are scary. I'm an animal lover an' all but...not really a lover I guess.
