My sister got 3 kittens from the SPCA this past weekend. There were originally 4 of them, but somebody adopted one. My sister was gonna get just 2, but she couldn't leave one all by itself, so they gave her the 3rd one for free.
We did it last summer, got a litter of five, and ended up keeping two of them. We're at our cat limit though so this way we can play with them and since I work at the SPCA too this summer I get to approve the applications (or not) of the people adopting them. Gonna be like, "I need five letters of reference, a home inspection, your social security number and your mother's maiden name. And then we'll think about it."
