Is what I thought when I was woken up very early this morning because the 85-year-old window next to my bed was rattling hard like it does when the wind is coming in from the east. And my bed was shaking. I couldn't quite figure out how the rattling window was making my bed shake, but it was

We had one in my area of CT back in the 80s. Same as you, I was asleep and I woke up to the room shaking. I thought it was a cement truck going down the street :) Really glad to hear that you got all of the thrills of an earthquake without any of the damage.

I heard that animals can sense an earthquake several hours before it happens. Freaky critters, you gotta love them.

Yeah. We are very lucky to have no damage to anyone or to much property. It was cool waking up just enough to wonder at it all but not freak out.

I'll definitely have to pay more attention when Pumpkin gets extra yowly in a not-just-I-want-fresh-water-now way.
