We were at a wedding in Milwaukee today. Between the ceremony and reception, we stopped for cheap gas ($3.98!) and snacks. The cashier was totally Donna from That 70s Show. Same coloring and personality. Too funny.
Saturday, I was going to meet T and vampirefan at DucKon in the suburbs. Since I was going to be out that way, I made plans to stop by and see and friend from college who lives a couple of miles from the con hotel

I just figured out that I'm very distantly related to the guy who Sayre Ave. in Chicago is named after. Every time I go under the Sayre Ave. overpass on the expressway, I say, "I wonder if I'm related to that guy." Now I know

Last night I sat down to change the times on my VCRs. When I got to my trusty Magnavox that I got in 1989, I noticed the date was wonky: 03 12 88. So I fixed it to say 03 11 08, but the 8 button didn't seem to be working. I got nothing when I pushed it again and again and from a zillion different angles.
