I've accepted Sirius’s offer of a drink Hogsmeade. I need a drink really, after a particularly trying first day of teaching.
Was paging (reluctantly) through
potions_master’s journal and came to an amusing and rather startling realization - for all his taunting of Sirius he hasn’t said a bloody word about my... condition. Malfoy, on the other hand, has been much more vocal - I wouldn’t be surprised if I received a surly owl from the elder Malfoy complaining of my inferior teaching methods, or asking who shall look after my lessons while I am otherwise indisposed.
Percy Weasley's journal fascinates me. It's the perfect cure for insomnia.
While we're on the subject of journal entries - Mr. Malfoy, I do not see the neccessity in alienating nearly every member of the Hogwarts staff and its pupils.
Putting together the lesson plan for tomorrow. I envy people who’ve done this for years and don’t have to construct a curriculum from scratch.
