Nearly dead from school work and studying and research and late nights and early mornings and too much coffee, but not quite dead yet!

I've been scribbling some Lupin stuff in my notebook, and I hope to start the RP soon. I need the distraction, desperately, of being someone else.

I used to love school, but now nearing the end of the semester, it is too grueling and too demanding! I try to imagine I am a 5th year Gryffindor studying for OWLS, but I don't get to do cool things like Hogwarts' students do. Ah, well, it will be over soon enough, I suppose.

Ugh, ugh, ugh. Too much school stuff to have much time for internet stuff, but I have been re-reading the HP books on the bus. I'm really interested in the character of young Lupin--not as cocky as Sirius and James. Smart, responsible, quiet. But not brave enough to stand up to his friends when they are out of line. Been looking into some RP groups, and one was very promising, but it requires a very lengthy application, which normally I wouldn't mind so much, but I have PMS, and am a bitch. Lupin is already taken, but there are some others characters up for grabs that would be interesting to play.

I'm feeling down today, discouraged about my fic. The HP fandom is wonderful, but I'm really on the outside of it, looking in. I would love to find a decent RP group, with adults, or at least, semi-adults, and people with depth and talent.
