"Professor, there is no defense against a vampire bite itself. The attacker must create a barrier - a light sourse that matches the suns wave-frequency would do it. I would use "Solarus," as it creates a "Lumos" effect but is much more effective. This is an extremely advanced shield and can only be mastered by those who are excellent in both charms and defence. The Solarus will drive the vampire away and kill it if held on him too long. My suggestion would be to form the solarus and run away

Draco lazily lifted his hand. His eyebrow raised and mildly shocked at the ignorance around him.
"Professor Lupin, to your second example. A patronus spell will repel a lethifold." As an afterthought, he added, "That is why most wizards sleep with their wands."
He then leaned his chin on his hand, suddenly remembering Harry's hands. Gah! Stop this you fool.
Harry thought of all of these things in his head, and he thought Hermione's answer for the one about the vampire was quite obvious.
He ignored Draco's statement and commented on the last one. "You just simply refuse the help, and just stay prepared like you would in any situation.." he said trailing off, thinking he sounded a bit dumb.
Remus listened to each of his students and spoke to them in turn.
"Miss Granger very well done. Have you thought what you would do with the vampire that you don't see? The one that moves so quickly and so smoothly you are taken before you can think. "
He then turned to Draco and addressed him as well.
"Mr Malfoy you are of course correct. We must always be careful to check our surroundings. Especially before we sleep."
He gave himself a mental shake before turning to Harry. He gave Harry a smile and spoke to him .
"I hope it would be that simple. But we all know usually that is not the case especially with you Harry. Everyone knows who you are. What would you do?"
Remus gave him a warm smile really just wanting the seemingly distracted youth to think.
