The US economy has never really recovered from the 2008 crash and now Europe is failing and China is looking weak.  Cutting spending hasn't worked in Europe so that's not the way to go ( Read more... )

The economy has never recovered. The lies from the mainstream media get worse each day. China is anything but weak. They are buying huge amounts of gold and they are also buying large amounts of real estate here in the USA to build their own cities. Obama wants America to be a socialist third world hell hole, Romney wants America to be a billionaires club. Things are going red all over the globe, something has to give.

So, something similar to the WPA of the 1930's?

The WPA worked on mostly simpler infrastructure since technology was simpler then. A lot of the unemployed are not trained or qualified to work on the more complex stuff but still, water, sewers, and roads are not that complex.

Honestly I've always felt the best way to tackle the problems we're having is to look back at what worked in the past and adapt it to today's needs. Me and my grandparents have talked and compared the Great Depression to this "Great Recession." One thing that came to mind was the "Public Works Program" that the government put in place during the depression. It more or less put unemployed americans to work putting in place much of the infrastructure we have now among other things. It provided a lot of temporary work for those who had none and in turn gave people the money they needed to spend to survive and boost the economy. I think we need a modern Public Works program to put people to work and like you said repair our dying infrastructure.

The public works programs didn't solve the depression but they helped some and gave us an infrastructure that helped in the future.

Even the national electric grid is in need to upgrades.indeed, I watched a program on TV and they talked about the electrical grid and how overloading it can lead to a cascade of failure. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northeast_blackout_of_2003... )

An FYI,,

Today I did a google search on "Enphase M215 Micro-inverters" and your company came up on page #8 - (10 search items per page so top 80)

thats not bad, unfortunately it also came up as a 404 page. -

Culprit page in question - http://www.anapode.com/Enphase_M215_MC_p/m215-60-2ll-s22.htm

I continued along googling but nothing else came up with the word anapode on it before page 20 so it may be worth your while to fix the link since it has a decent rank with Google.
