Meet Brendan John!

Brendan John was born at 9:58AM today, March 30. A whopper, weighing in at 9lbs 13oz, measuring 20 1/4" long. 12 days behind schedule, so to say he was anxiously awaited by all is an understatement, by Mom and the Grandparents especially. Mom and baby are both happy and healthy and resting comfortably.

OCongratulations - he's very handsome! But I have to ask, did your poor wife deliver him naturally? I can't believe how big he is!

Yep, naturally. And with no drugs, much to her chagrin. At least at the time she sure wanted them, but she's really happy it worked out that way now. By the time she asked for an epidural, there wasn't time to get her one. The whole thing was over in about 5 hours.
