Luke was standing by the entrance to the living room, a content smile on his face. He had stopped in his tracks on the way in, just wanting to savor the moment when he caught sight of Reid interacting with his siblings. Never in his wildest dreams - although to be honest, they were mostly NC-17 rated and based on recent memories these days - did he imagine his grumpy, slightly short-tempered neurosurgeon boyfriend would not only get along with his siblings, but actually spend time with them voluntarily. Not to mention that it looked like Reid, who insisted that he could pick out a gift on his own, thank you very much, had apparently also managed to give Ethan the perfect birthday present, judging by the fact that his little brother hadn’t let the Rubik’s cube that was designed to look like a brain out of his sight ever since he opened the package and declared that it was so cool and totally gross in an awesome wayLuke was just eavesdropping on Reid trying to explain the best strategy for solving the puzzle to Ethan and Natalie, all ( ... )

Sweet! And uh-oh, it looks like Luke's going to have competition for future birthday gifts for his siblings. I like how Reid assures Luke, though, that Luke's gift will be appreciated by Ethan. Awwww.

Adorable! I love Reid and Ethan. Luke's mild jealousy here was perfectly natural and it's great that Reid noticed right away and reassured Luke.

How cute. Luke being jealous of Reid's gift to Ethan, and Reid actually playing with the kids. Loved it

I can see Reid sort of gravitating towards the kids when he realizes that'll save him from interacting with the crazy adults. ;) ... and he'd probably like it too. :D
