Reid was reviewing a scan while walk. He heard his father-in-law call his name. Reid made the decision to not look up. Perhaps if he managed not to speed up his pace, he could pretend not to have heard Holden. He only had about fifteen feet until he could reach the elevator and use it to make his escape ( ... )

Thanks! I think that Reid likes to be the best at things so he'd make sure he excelled at the husband stuff.

So good! I'm glad Reid is there to tell the Snyders how it's done. Marriage definitely doesn't have to be hard. Fabulous!

Ha! What a wonderful way for Reid to distract himself in a stuck elevator. I love that he told Holden a few facts of life; and just as happy that Holden got to see that rare, real Reid Oliver. I really enjoyed it.

Thanks for the lovely comment. For some reason, I can see Reid bonding with most of Luke's family but not his parents. But I see them all trying to co-exist for Luke's sake.

Thanks very much. Your feedback is really appreciated. Even though he's more cynical than most human beings, I always liked that Reid understood what a relationship was supposed to be like [i.e., his conversations with Noah and Katie]

Thank you! Lure fic doesn't seem to include many Holden and Reid interactions. I think maybe because even Luke and Holden didn't have a lot of great interactions during the last year or so? Their most powerful scenes together during the past year were probably when Holden was arrested and it just did NOT paint Holden in a good light.

I started reading this without noticing the author. Then I read the line about Reid taking Ethan and Natalie to the science museum and I quickly checked the author thinking it had to be you. Another terrific story.

Natalie and Ethan would have real security knowing that Reid and Luke don't lie to them. Reid was justifiably indignant about Holden's suggestion.

I could paste Reid's entire description about how marriage is easy here and say it was my favorite part. It was wonderful.

Thanks so much for reading and commenting. It's funny that I've written so much fanfic that I have all this self-created fanon in my head when I write.

Oh Holden, you always think it's Lily's fault no matter what. You should just shut up and thank Reid for being such a better spouse than either you or Lily.
