One night Luke gives Reid a tour of the farm. Reid sees some lights from a far and asked Luke what place is that? Luke looks over and replies.
“Oh that is my place”
“Are you going to give me a tour of that place too?!” Reid asked
Luke took Reid’s hand and led him over to Luke’s place, which was the cottage. Where Noah used to live with Ameera but no one needed that place anymore, and Luke was in his 20s and needed a place he could call his own, but still be close to his family. Luke moved to the cottage.
They get to the front door and Luke unlocks the door. Luke walks in and welcomes Reid in.
“You kinda have to excuse the mess I just moved in.” Luke told him shyly
“I can see that, no worries at least I can see the true you. Reid said with a smile
“Well...” Luke was lost for words
Boxes were around the living room. Luke has photos in frames on the book case with Luke’s stories on the top sleeve. One was lying on the table, and Reid picked it up. He started to look at it and before Luke knew it Reid asked if it was their story. Luke started to get all red faced and looked down and said “Yeah, sorry, different things get me inspired”
“This is really good; I take it I am the moody doctor? Reid looks at Luke
Luke takes a deep breath. “Want something to drink or something to eat maybe, I just went shopping.”
Reid closes the story and puts it back on the table. They walk to the kitchen. Luke looks in. The fridge with the door opening on the wrong side he keeps Reid waiting on the other side of it. Luke starts to babble about what he has to drink and eat but without Luke knowing it Reid steps away.
Reid came to the bedroom, walks in and sees a photo of them on Luke’s night stand. Luke stands up from the fridge and notices that Reid was not there; he walks around the corner and sees Reid standing in his bedroom.
“What...what are you...doing in here” Luke all flustered and looking down a little
Reid smiles at Luke and he sees by Luke’s little stereo a CD Reid burned for him.
“If you don’t want me in here that is fine...I’ll leave” Reid told Luke
Reid starts for the bedroom door when Luke steps in front of him.
“No! Stay”
