I'm probably just rambling, but here's a bit of my brain.shatteredechoOctober 10 2005, 12:24:21 UTC
People are self destructive, Matty. I think a lot of people can only feel if they're in pain. Pain is a mistress that won't leave them. Other people can hurt you and pull out your insides. Pain is just topical. It doesn't cut as deeply as the wounds people can inflict on you

The English language does not have enough words to cover all the different loves that there are unfortunately so it gets over generalized. *sigh* As far as combining all religions that just ain't gonna work because its not needed. People just need to become aware of the Truth.
Isn't change something that can only be attained through sacrifice, though? Doesn't everyone have to give up a little part of themselves to actually effect change? I agree with you completely, and I can't tell you how many times I've stayed up talking to someone when I had other responsibilities, and how many times I would do the same, over and over and over again, and probably will do, because I care about people. I don't even have to know someone well to care about them or how they feel. I understand completely where you're coming from. I'm also implying that there is no need for this to be connected to religion. Religion is all well and good, but everyone fights over it, and why doesn't anyone ever propose that maybe they're all right? Maybe there's really nothing left to fight about

searching for utopia is not possible... for utopia means "no mans land" No man can be in utopia, or else then it is not utopia... unless, it can then be transformed from "no mans land" to "land that no man has touched" and therefore is a perfect land. But that assumes that man ruins everything they touch. I for one, refuse to believe that and am more inclined to believe that everyman doesn't have war in their nature, but love. Why do people fight wars?... because they believe that it will save their loved ones in the end. It wont. but that's what they are told and thats what they believe... notice how we never stop fighting... but we are fighting for love, of family, of the girl back home, of the world, of the nation you are fighting for, of God, of self. We don't fight to fight... at least I refuse to believe that that is indeed what we do. The fight never stops because no one has ever tried anything differently. If someone does, then the other side wont, and there won't be enough support on the person that tries to solve
