Surgery update

For those of you who knew I was having my left foot operated on today, th doctor says it went well. No more than moderate nausea, which is mostly over, so I can actually eat again. Foot is in a big black boot, with strict instructions not to put *any* weight on it, so I'm hopping around on crutches. I am back at my friend's house recuperating,

What did they determine they needed to operate on? Somehow I never heard that part of the story. *hugs again*

Left bunion. 13-degree angle between big-toe bone and next one over. Feel free to ask for more details on the surgery, but I don't want to gratuitously gross out my friends list.

Hooray! To the part about the operation going well, anyway. Possibly also to getting the month off, depending. :)

if you do get the month off, there is the possiblity of coming down this way and driving us nuts in retaliation for the christmas break. Oh well, either way, have fun.
