I'm in NY! I drove for 6 hours straight at one point. While I know everyone thinks I'm crazy for doing it, I love doing it.

There is something about the solitude. Also, I think that towards the end it is kind of unbearable but I keep going. It feels like I beat something. I am exhausted afterwards but so self satisfied.

Work has been so odd lately. Basically everyone is scrambling to get abstracts ready for a big conference and they are due Friday and tomorrow is our department picnic. We had our housewarming last night. Everyone pretty much ate everything. Which is good.
