i was assigned at the nursery today... the babies were SUPER cute!!! one of 'em was fresh from the operating room through a cesarean section. baby had vernix all over her but she was suuuupper cute. i had to assess her, give her her first bath, apply erythromycin ointment on her eyes, and give her the vitamin k shot

hahaha that is amazing!! poor baby with the double shot..
and how was that circumcision!? was the baby like squeeling for dear life? hahah

the circumcision went really well. anesthesia totally worked, and we placed sucrose in the baby's pacifier... it diverted the baby's attention away from the MD slicing away part of his penis... haha ouch. but the baby didnt cry at all (:

the babies were the best part...but the work....SuCKED!
