Some of the books I'm using for research use "Mohammedans" interchangeably with "Muslim." I've only seen this in novels and I had no idea the term was actually employed in academia. I'm very tempted to examine this in my term paper, but that would make a fairly wide rabbit trail from discussing Maimonides. As usual, I'm making this task much too
