It is odd to me that at 2am I wish only for sleep. Not for the peace that sleep brings, or even the security of mind that would bring sleep. Only for sleep. And words keep popping into my head. So, as of today I have officially given up on the Fulbright grant. And amazingly enough, I'm happy and a little less stressed now. I really wasn't qualified for the program I wanted to apply for, so I guess my plan for right now is to maybe take a year off and work/travel/play in pubs in Ireland. So basically we're just sitting around waiting to lose power. The worst of it should come tonight, so we're sleeping in the hall. My bathroom has been designated the practice room, cause what else are you gonna do for prolonged periods of no power?
