Hooray Friday.
Quick update: looks like we won't be puppy-sitting after all, they moved Becky's surgery up to next weekend. Also, yay for getting paid! (and getting our tax refund, it looks like!) Both of these things will be very useful for moving (if the landlord ever gets back in touch with me...)

Busy, crazy week

Things are falling into place
I've been in contact with both of my possible professors/academic advisors, and they both seem very excited and are looking forward to meeting with me and discussing things. Looking at the fall schedule, it's possible that I could take a full load of classes (somewhere between 12 - 15 hours) and have nothing on friday. So theoretically I could find ( Read more... ) -

Well, I finally heard back from the graduate coordinator for my department. Looks like I won't be getting an assistantship, and I need to decide on an academic advisor and thesis idea/research lab before starting classes in the fall ( Read more... ) -
