It's so hot in Philly! I'm sure it's hot everywhere, though :) Luckily we have 2 air conditioners and a shaved dog. Chemo last Thursday was pretty good...didn't make sick at all. Unfortunately this Thursday is the infamous mustragen which makes me very sick for at least 24 hours. I think I've said it before but it's very hard to sit there and let ( Read more... ) -
Transferring from Carepage
I am worried that they make chenille (sp?) blankets out of shaved shih-tzus. Because that is what Franklin feels like now that he is (semi)shaved. (See picture at right). I took him to the groomer's today, all by myself in my Sassy and I think he did pretty well. He was too scared to come out of the cage for the lady there so I had to go get him. ( Read more... ) -

Whoa, sorry it's been so long since I updated but it was hard to update from home (slow computer/using Olivia's computer). I had my 7th (that's right SEVENTH) chemo Thursday and Friday and I am feeling better today. It seems to take about 24 hours after the last treatment to start feeling somewhat normal again. Thanks everyone for all the wonderful comments! My hospital experience has definitely changed the way I think about patients (and doctors and nurses). I'm still here at home until Wednesday when Mom and I will go back to Philly for chemo on Thursday and Friday. I have felt good the past two days and I thank everyone for their prayers. Chemo v6.0
Sorry for no updates recently. It has been an extermely tough week. Much pain every day with little to nothing to do for relief. Now I am feeling better, though. Thanks to everyone for the prayers, I know that is why I made it through this week. -

Dollar Dog night was a huge sucess. After tailgating in the parking lot and subsequently scarfing (scarf=technical term for eating 2 hotdogs in under 2 minutes) down said dogs we settled in for a few innings of the Philles v.
