I'm glad you posted that, Luv. I think it's been building up in you for a long time, and you needed to get it out somehow.

"I do it because I'm an empath. I feel pain, even if it's not my own." Some of the first traits I noticed about you were your wit and intelligence. After that came this. I think your being an empath is much of what allowed us to have the bond we do and the friendship we do. I'm glad you are one, even though it's sometimes hard for me to see you take on the pain of so many others.

As for the song, it's not the only Gavin DeGraw song I've heard, but it's the one I always remember when I think of him. Have you seen the video?

yeah it's a great video. i just happen to enjoy his voice. i like all of the songs he sings, but his voice is just so raw that it pulls me in.
