tonight is a night of drunkin debaughery. I have friends broken up with the tool that was once my boyfriend and better off for it. i must say that you have always struck me as a beautiful person, and i don't mean in the physical sense (although, facts being facts, you're no slouch there). there's something about you that struck me as beautiful in the same way that a willow tree is beautiful, in that it is both delicate in feeling and yet contains a strength that defies that delicate feeling. i could never figure out how that came to be but maybe what you've just shared illuminated that just a little. and the fact that you did share shows both of these aspects again. also, truth be told, listening is part of what friends are for, no matter what needs to be said, and when you're drunk and sharing with friends via a public forum like this, well, that's just the electronic equivalent of pouring your heart out to a friend over a pint at your local and just being loud...not that i've ever done that.......;)

anyways, i don't want to preach so i won't. you know where to find me if there's anything i can do. *hugs*

"he "fell in love" with someone who is just as fucked up as him one week after we broke up. He said he felt jsut as intensly about her as about me in our year and a half relationship. wow." Isn't that practically the definition of a rebound... and a dysfunctional one at that.
If there's a local "take back the night" type of organization, some time spent with them could be satisfying.

Basically it's a group that crusades for women being able to be womanly without fear of attack/stigma.
